Located in the village of Siigalei and measuring around 12 jibaals (the jibaal is a local measure which corresponds to a half acre), this community garden boasts a large production of carrots, onions, lettuce, peppers and spinach. The cultivation of beans is also important, as they fix nitrogen into the ground, which is fundamental for fertility. The people involved in the activities of this garden include 20 men and 7 women. The garden is kept in good health and the soil is enriched by using good cultural practices and adding organic manure. The garden produce is sold at the village of Janaale and the income is used to rehabilitate the school in Sagaaroole.
