The school is in the southwestern part of Uganda on the slopes of the Kabale district, northern division of the Kabale municipality in the Lower Bugongi parish, village of Kibikura. The garden has 107 male students working on it. The crops grown are sweet potatoes, maize and beans. The plan is to introduce vegetables in the garden to have a source of vitamins. Farmyard manure is used to improve the soil fertility and productivity. Mulching and terracing are the methods used to control soil erosion since the garden is located on a slope. Their primary source of water is rain. Training in agronomy to improve production and the control of soil, pests and disease is needed.
