Tarsus is a city with 9000 years of history, located between Mersin and Adana, 12 km inland from the Mediterranean. Located on the mouth of the Berdan River which empties into the Mediterranean, Tarsus is a junction point of land and sea routes connecting the Çukurova (a very fertile plain), central Anatolia and the Mediterranean.

According to the availability, some of the producers sells Slow Food Ark of taste products, such as Turunç Ekşisi, Tort Peyniri, Patkara grapes, Sarı Ulak olives and Bozyazı Kavutu.
