Ait Izza school has been enrolled in the “courir le Maroc” project, which aims at the creation of some small activities in the 16 regions of Morocco, in collaboration with many other local associations and through a private collection of funds.
The program therefore has permission to launch a garden with students of the school, on a plot of 100m2 in which onions, red chili peppers, radish, turnip and salad has been planted.
Every day the children also look after “buttes sandwich” (a technique of permaculture) by watering and weeding the land. Many of the children have farmers for parents and so have already had the chance to carry out agricultural activities both with their parents and teachers.
