Francesco Anastasi

Francesco Anastasi was born in Messina in 1991. He has a degree in Gastronomic Sciences, and after a brief spell in the chocolate industry, since March 2014 he has been working in the office of the president of Slow Food and the University of Gastronomic Sciences. Together with others he coordinates Slow Food Italy’s youth network, continuing the vital task of bringing new lifeblood to the movement. Thanks to this experience he has been able to pursue his passion for politics, particularly linked to the food industry. He has a particular interest in two of the greatest raw materials, cacao and coffee, and this interest often takes him around the world.
