Lavazza has been at Slow Food’s side ever since the first Salone del Gusto.

Over the last few years its commitment has developed into significant support for the activities of the Slow Food Foundation, from the gardens in Africa to the Presidia. More specifically, Lavazza is supporting a number of activities in Ethiopia, donating part of the proceeds from sales of its 2015 calendar—featuring portraits of members of African Presidia, communities and gardens by the great photographer Steve McCurry—to the “10,000 Gardens in Africa” project.

This year the company launched Etigua, a blend of coffees from two Slow Food Presidia, Huehuetenango highland in Guatemala and Harenna forest in Ethiopia, on the Italian and British markets.
