ADI Apicoltura
For over 150 years the Iacovanelli family, owners of ADI Apicoltura, have been producing organic honey in Tornareccio, in the Abruzzese province of Chieti. Since 2017, they have been supporting the Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity through their new collection of honeys, Le Esperienze. One euro from the sale of each jar is being donated to Slow Food Foundation projects around the world that are working to safeguard the survival of the bees and biodiversity.
Le Esperienze honey is available online through the company’s website (www.adiapicoltura.it), on the Lorenzo Vinci portal (www.lorenzovinci.it) and Amazon shop, and from 2018 will also be distributed in high-end shops.
Le Esperienze are organically certified Italian honeys from rare botanical species, with particularly high purity. The first varieties to be available, in numbered jars, are Coriander, Dandelion, Arbutus and Rhododendron, as well as a new organic spreadable cream, 70.30, made up of 70% organic acacia honey and 30% organic PGI Piedmontese hazelnuts.
