Thanks to a contribution from Eataly, Slow Food is launching gardens in a number of African countries. One by one, as they are created, you can find them on a georeferenced map, together with photos and information on the gardens.

Slow Food gardens act as the starting point in saving biodiversity, promoting traditional knowledge and encouraging sustainable models of agriculture. On this immense continent, which every day faces natural disasters and political and economic instability, the Slow Food communities carry on their daily work for food security and sustainability.
