ViscioleIn Cantiano, on clay and limestone soils, grows a small tree whose fruits are particularly suited for the preparation of jams, wines, spirits, drinks or for immediate consumption. These fruits are black cherries, raw material for the production of Cantiano Black Cherry preserve. Cherries are removed of their stalks, divided by size with a sieve and stoned. They are then cooked in their brine, adding some sugar; when cooking is over they are packed in bottles.
