Buttemoscht

Back to the archive >

Buttermoscht is the puree (must) made from the fruit of the dog rose (rosehips). In order to produce it, the hips are ground and cold pressed twice. It is then used as a base for the production of jams and pastries. Production and sales, conducted locally door-to-door,  take place during the last two weeks of September and in October.
